Obesity is the second greatest threat to U.S. public healthopens in a

The Endocrine Societyopens in a new tab or window announced its 2024 
Laureate Award winners, with the lifetime achievement award going to 
past president E. Dale Abel, MBBS, DPhil, of UCLA Health in Los 
Angeles.   

In those with diabetes, being divorced was tied with a 67% higher 
risk of lower limb amputation opens in a new tab or window while 
being male was linked with a 57% higher risk, according to new 
research to be presented at the European Association for the Study of
