[AMP-L] Girl Wins $48.3 Million in Settlement After Doctors Amputated Limbs

A British girl has won a settlement of £39 million or $48.3 million 
after doctors amputated all her limbs following an unjust discharge 
from a hospital.  

Lawyers for the girl said her parents took her to Frimley Park 
Hospital in Surrey, southeast England, with a high fever, vomiting, 
and drowsiness, Metro reported. These symptoms are "red flags for 
meningitis and sepsis," according to BBC News. However, doctors sent 
her home with paracetamol or acetaminophen.
