[Athen] accessibility of Sakai?

Hi Pamela,

Something to keep in mind regarding Sakai - it is (essentially) being
developed by a number of different institutions all contributing various
amounts of code. One of the colleges in our system (California community
colleges) is using parts of Sakai for their learning management system; not
the entire package. So, the information you get regarding the accessibility
of Sakai pertains to Sakai and may not reflect the actual implementation of
the learning management system at your institution.

That being said - here are some URLs to check out with respect to Sakai and
accessibility:

This is a list of the current issues with accessibility and Sakai as well as
proposed directions:
http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/2ACC/Home

If you want to review the list of bugs/feature requests/requirements of
Sakai, you can check out:
http://bugs.sakaiproject.org/jira/secure/IssueNavigator.jspa?pager/start=0

(note -this page is designed for tracking various issues and requirements
and is designed to be very interactive in order to search for what you are
looking for)

Hope this helps,
Sean

Subject: [Athen] accessibility of Sakai?

I've been asked about the accessibility of the Sakai Collaboration and
Learning Environment for Education. Can anyone comment on this?
Thanks!
