Hi All, 

Blackboard is preparing to announce the launch of a formal accessibility
beta test of its "Next Generation" product. This is a unique and very
important opportunity for us to have a positive impact on accessibility of
this product. In order to participate, you must be a member of the
Blackboard Accessibiliy Interest Group's Design Sub-Group, and your
institution must have a signed Non Disclosure Agreement (NDA) on file with
Blackboard. The beta test will begin any day now, and will continue through
October. However, new NDA's will only be accepted through the end of
September. Also, it's important for those of you who are interested to get
involved early, because the earlier feedback is provided to Blackboard the
more likely it is to result in positive changes in their product. 

I've attached a copy of the NDA form. After completing and signing the form,
please do the following two things: 

1. Scan it and email it to Dara Millen: Dara.Millen at blackboard.com

If scanning isn't possible, fax it to 202-463-4863, but still send Dara an
email so she'll know to expect it. 

2. Send me an email (tft at u.washington.edu) and let me know you're interested
in beta testing and have submitted your NDA. Once Dara has cleared you, I
can add you to the Design Sub-group's mailing list, where all discussion
regarding the beta test will take place.
