The Center for Faculty Development within the Academic Technology Department
at San José State University supports the instructional mission of the
Metropolitan University of Silicon Valley by providing and supporting
instructional, information, and computing technologies that enhance the
university's educational process.

The Center for Faculty Development is seeking an Instructional Designer who
under minimal supervision of the Interim Associate Director, Center for
Faculty Development and Support, will be responsible for providing
instruction and support for faculty and staff in the implementation of
strategies designed to provide access for all students, including those with
disabilities per California Code 11135 and the application of Section 508
requirements. The Instructional Designer will serve as a resource to the
campus in the implementation of the California State University Accessible
Technology Initiative (ATI) per Coded Memorandum AA-2008-21, Policy for
Access to Electronic & Information Technology for Persons with Disabilities.
