Hi Greg,

Can you indicate on list if you're planning to use 508 as the basis for
technical requirements?

Looking at some other policies, I've noticed most use 508 as their technical
standards, some, such as Ohio State, supplement it with some of the WCAG
guidelines.

For anyone interested, I found Ohio State's policy to be a useful model:
http://ada.osu.edu/resources/WebPolicies.htm,
http://wac.osu.edu/standards/index.html.
Some other policies and sites folks might want to check out include:
Purdue: http://www.purdue.edu/webaccessibility/Policy/
Colorado State: http://accessibility.colostate.edu/accessweb.htm
University of Texas at Austin:
http://www.utexas.edu/web/guidelines/accessibility.html

Also, WebAIM has two excellent resources. One article on their evaluation of
web accessibility policies at various universities:
http://webaim.org/articles/policies/policies_pilot/
and another an extensive list of campus web accessibility policies:
http://webaim.org/articles/policies/postsec/ (just came across this while I
was looking for url for the one above).
