[Athen] Repost: Logic symbols with screen reader / braille?

Are there working solutions for using JAWS and /or refreshable Braille 
with Logic symbols?

I have a blind student considering taking a Logic course this fall and I 
have no idea about this.  The professor sent me a couple sample homework 
solution pages, and I am attaching one here.  This symbolism if foreign 
to me.

Any ideas, suggestions or strategies would be greatly appreciated.
