At The University of Texas at Austin Information Technology Services (ITS)
provides testing of websites, web applications and external software
products to ensure access for hearing, visual and manual dexterity
disabilities. We are benchmarking our staffing levels against various
institutions and would appreciate input based on your institution.

1. Talk to me about the size of your institution. For example;
a. What is the numbers of disciplines or colleges?
b. How many students are enrolled?
c. How large is your web presence?
d. What is your approximate number of web pages?

2. Do you have a department on campus that provides services for
students with disabilities?
a. What is the number of students with disabilities that are
registered?
b. Does ITS provide services for students with disabilities?
c. Does ITS have any staff hours (FTEs) dedicated to these
services?
d. If so, what services do you provide?


3. When there are web accessibility issues on public pages who fixes
the issue?
a. The department?
b. Centrally?

4. When there are web accessibility issues on student facing pages who
fixes the issue?
a. The department?
b. Centrally?

5. When there are web accessibility issues on administrative pages who
fixes the issue?
a. The department?
b. Centrally?

6. What is the role of central ITS in testing and fixing web
accessibility issues on public pages?
a. Do you have any staff hours (FTEs) dedicated to these
services?
