[Athen] Matlab and JAWS install instructions?

Does anyone have any install instructions and/or version recommendations for using Matlab with JAWS (including current or previous versions) that have been known to work and that may still work?

 

Has anyone recently successfully installed the combination of JAWS 12, Matlab 2012a, and Windows 7 that is described in the setup detailed on this 2012 Mathworks link:

Does anyone have any experience with Matlab by Mathworks and have familiarity with its current level of accessibility?  Their documentation on with regard to screen reader accessibility seems a bit outdated having last tested it on JAWS 5, 6, and 7.
