With the new, lower cost eye-gaze add-ons, that is another option to
consider.
Some are portable and can be transferred from computer to computer via a
USB cable.

I think that an AT assessment of sorts and/or consultation review would be
beneficial to support his needs. It is easy to guess but, the variables
are many relative to the individual.
