[Athen] problem embossing labels

Hello all,

I am trying to emboss on the Embossables, the clear adhesive sheets.  For some reason, the Juliet Pro I'm using doesn't find the top of form with this paper loaded.  It works just fine with the other paper, but not with the Embossables.  Any ideas why?

The label that pulls off is clear, but the backing is white, so I don't think it's a matter of the sensor getting too much light through the paper, but that's my guess.
