[Athen] Mind mapping software

Hello, I am curious to know how mind mapping software works with a screen
reader, since the nature of it is visual. I'm wondering if it's just the
functional parts, like converting it to an outline and other text-based
tasks like that which are accessible, and not so much the concept maps
themselves.
