Yes, if you set it up correctly. The good news is that the transcrips I have dealt with so far have been very good. Here are some details.

1) You must have a licensed account so you can record to the web.

2) You have to make sure the auto transcript feature is turned on in your profile settings.

3) When you select to record, you have to record to the web.

4) Once you have finished the recording, you have to end the meeting before the recording and transcript are generated.

5) If you have multiple speakers, Zoom’s transcript automatically markes who the speaker is for each section.

Of course, since this ASR, it isn’t perfect, but it is very good in my experience.

Does Zoom have a feature to recognize voice? Or create a transcript?

Hi,

What vendors do you recommend to convert a foreign language textbook from PDF to an accessible Word document? The textbook is in German, and is needed by an instructor. Classes start Aug 24. Our disability services office is unable to help, and the publisher has not responded yet.

HR is working with the instructor, and reached out to us to seek advice.

Thanks for any suggestions!

Dean
