[Athen] [EXTERNAL] - Noise-Canceling Headset Mic for Dragon

As far as I know, noise canceling headphones are meant to take the environmental sounds and phase-shift them 180-degrees to cancel out those sounds leaving only the signal going to the two earpieces. The intent being not having to crank up the volume to listen with the headphones on while minimizing those nearby sounds.

They aren't made for using the microphones to eliminate noise coming into the microphone.

Cardioid microphones attempt to only pick up sound from one direction but aren't necessarily great at stopping background noises.

Hello!

An individual I am working with is interested in using a noise-canceling headset microphone with Dragon. Her work environment can get noisy, so she is interested in headset microphone options that might not pick up as much background noise when using Dragon. Do you all have any recommendations?

Thank you for the help!

Shannon
