[Athen] Zoom Events Conference and Webex accessibility

Monica - Were your users refer to the Zoom event specifically? Everyday use on Zoom, no doubt, is accessible, but Zoom event is very new (a year old), and the VPAT admits some areas are not accessible for screen readers and keyboard-only users. Zoom will provide me with a free trial so that I can test against their VPAT.

Hi Lori,

I have been told more than once by everyday/full-time screen reader users that Zoom currently provides a more accessible user experience than Webex. I personally think that Zoom also does a better job documenting their product's accessibility status than Webex does.

Has anyone experienced Zoom Events Conference<https://support.zoom.us/hc/en-us/articles/4421725743373-Getting-started-with-Zoom-Events-conference-lobby> or Webex Events<https://urldefense.com/v3/__https:/www.webex.com/events.html__;!!DZ3fjg!72fu7LjilRFW6LWcDZ2IK3jyNKkE_fjT0QeMKaoA3f9CLTf82PlpBGWSeKsAo9xBL0i5rY8NNrblcAmOPuMQ$>? How accessible is it? Which platform is more accessible than the other? I reviewed the Zoom VPAT statement, and they were open about some areas that are not accessible for whatever reasons. I asked for a free trial to do some testing. Any information is greatly appreciated.
