Jeff,
In the forty years I worked at the University of Washington, most IT accessibility roles were within UW-IT, our central IT organization. However, recently, a position focused on accessible IT opened within the Office of the ADA Coordinator within Compliance and Risk Services.

Subject: [Athen] IT Accessibility roles - how are you structured?

Hello ATHEN Community,

We are interested in finding out a bit about how institutions are organizing IT Accessibility roles within your educational institutions. Are they housed within your IT infrastructure? Are they a part of compliance teams? If any of you would be willing to share we would love to hear.
