Hi Amy,

I have information obtained in the past year. All of the Blind and Low
Vision students using the ALEKS platform for math courses that I have
supported have required alternative formats and human assistants to access
the content.

Information I have:

In Accessibility mode, Non-accessible content will be labeled with a
"Sighted Assistance Needed" message. It does not provide alternative text
or other access solutions.

The following features will be disabled in accessibility mode:

-

eBook
-

Videos as Resources in Learning Mode
-

Dictionary
-

Worksheets
-

Calendar
-

Class Forum
-

Message Center
-

ALEKS Calculator
-

Spanish Toggle
-

LockDown Browser
-

My Questions

Screen magnification does not work fully in homework activities on diagrams
and graphs. When you magnify, it distorts/enlarges the top bar and makes it
cover the graph. I have a video of this if you want to see it. Color
contrast modes do not stay implemented in the print preview screen (the
only place you can effectively zoom graphs).

I hope this helps. Sorry it's not better news.

Best wishes,
Natalie
