Hi all,

Our Oracle PeopleSoft training team has many online Guides to help our users. Some of the recorded videos have no audio, but is visual in nature since the video demonstrates specific steps to complete a task on a given web page. Here is an example:[http://Create Delegation Request] Create Delegation Request.

I am trying to figure out if audio description is absolutely required or not in this case to meet SC 1.2.5 Audio Description<https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/audio-description-prerecorded>. While I understand it would definitely be best practice and the most accessible choice to include audio descriptions, the page itself includes text based step-by-step instructions that replicate the video, and images have alt text.

Because text-based instructions that mimic the video content are included, does this meet "Media Alternative" for prerecorded video content, SC 1.2.3<https://www.w3.org/WAI/WCAG21/Understanding/audio-description-or-media-alternative-prerecorded.html>?

Is audio description an absolute in this example?
