to me

Hello,

My name is Chris Robins, I am a K9 Handler for the Department of Homeland Security, Transportation Security Administration. I’m reaching out in regards to getting together a pool of students that are in Criminal Justice degree programs to assist us in being a part of our volunteer decoy pool. The Transportation Security Administration regularly evaluates screening procedures in order to stay ahead of evolving threats. As one of the TSA’s many layers of security, thePassenger Screening Canine Program is no exception to the rule. In order to ensure canines are always prepared for real time threats, the TSAcontinuously trains and tests the canines’ abilities. In support of this training, the TSA at SEATAC Airport is in need of volunteer decoys. Volunteers will serve as mock traveling passengers and participate in training scenarios that resemble an everyday traveling environment. We have worked with other Colleges and Community Colleges in the area and are trying to expand our reach by reaching out to you! In return we are always welcome to come and do demonstrations for classes or speak about what we do, the ins and outs of DHS/TSA K9.

Regards,

Christopher Robins
