The RC has an outstanding opportunity for a dynamic, service-oriented, and
student-centered individual to join our team as a Study Hours Tutor. This
position would begin November 1, 2022 and is a Project, Non-Permanent
position for 9 months with the possibility of renewal.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

We support students through afternoon drop in study sessions and/or
scheduled day time appointments. Tutors provide tutoring and supplemental
instruction in support of regular

academic programs through one-on-one and group tutoring sessions, exam
review

sessions, and other duties as assigned. Tutors work in one subject area
only.

Tutors generally work between the hours of 4 pm and 6 pm (PST), with some
exceptions.

You must be able to work in the evenings in order to be hired as a tutor.
Tutors

generally work 4-8 hours a week. All tutoring activities are held in the
Robinson Center or virtually through Zoom during the academic year unless
specifically scheduled and agreed

to by tutors and employers.

Kathryn

The University of Washington acknowledges the Coast Salish people of this
land, the land which touches the shared waters of all tribes and bands
within the Suquamish, Tulalip, and Muckleshoot nations.

I would like to acknowledge that we are on the traditional land of the first
people of Seattle, the Duwamish people past and present and honor with
gratitude the land itself and the Duwamish Tribe.
