BBIOSTUDENTS is a moderated e-mail list for undergraduate and post baccalaureate students majoring in biology. All current biology majors are automatically subscribed to this mailing list every quarter. The purposes of this list are as follows: 1) The Biology adviser and student assistant will use the list to post information relevant to undergraduate students in the biological sciences. This will be the primary way that the department will communicate important information and announcements. You will receive notices about internships, undergraduate research opportunities, jobs/careers, classes, campus events, and so on (these are also posted via our Trello Board: https://trello.com/b/1LQ8HY3Y/bio-chem-info-board). Drop-in advising cancellations or adjustments will also be communicated via this mailing list. 2) Students, faculty, and staff at UW can send messages to us (bbiostudents@u.washington.edu) for approval to post to this list if notices are appropriate for this group. We encourage you to send messages of general interest about relevant campus events and speakers, community activities related to the study of biological sciences, announcements of club or honor society meetings, etc. We hope you will find the information on this list useful. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator.
