[Athen] Victor Reader Soft Mac question

RFBD's website states that the Victor Reader Software has not been tested on Mac OS above 10.3.

Has anyone been using it on 10.5.5, and if so, does it work properly?

I have a student who would like to purchase it, but I don't want her to buy something that won't run properly.

Any feedback would be welcome!
