The Enable Natural Language Commands option must be checked in order to use
many of the special commands for the Microsoft Office Suite and other
applications for which Dragon has special commands. This setting is under
Options > Commands.

Also, Preferred does not support Outlook 2003 or 2007.

Subject: [Athen] Strange issue with Dragon NaturallySpeaking on a
VistaMachine?

I'm going to go look at this situation later this morning, so as of yet,
don't have all the specifics of what we'll be dealing with but here's what I
know so far:

The system in question is a Lenovo Thinkpad T400 with 4 gigs of ram, running
the 32 bit version of Vista Enterprise and Dragon NaturallySpeaking version
10. The user is reporting that is microphone works. he is able to record
sounds in sound recorder and even complete the Dragon training; However, he
is unable to dictate into applications such as Word and Outlook.

Any ideas as to what I should be looking for when troubleshooting this?

Thanks,
