[Athen] Voice activated High Quality Digital Recorder

I am attempting to find a virtually hands-free voice activated digital
recorder.  The student has severe tendonitis and needs a unit you can
start up by voice.  I haven't seen something like this, so let me know
what your experiences are with such technology.
