[Athen] KIC Bookedge Walkup Scanner Accessibility?

Dear ATHEN,

Our library wants to purchase a KIC Bookedge walkup scanner with touchscreen interface by Digital Library Systems Group at Image Access:  http://www.imageaccess.com/dlsg/kic-bookedge.html.

I've requested a VPAT from the vendor (not received yet).

Can anyone speak to the accessibility of this product?

Regarding the touchscreen, how easy/hard was it to implement a redundant set of controls that can be used by persons w/disabilities?
