Checking for understanding there are two ways you can fix reading order.


Method 1 - Selection Pane

You can move the objects up and down. Objects listed LAST will be read FIRST by a screen reader, and objects listed FIRST will be read LAST. Therefore, you want the objects to be listed bottom to top, so that they are read aloud top to bottom.


Method 2 - Reorder Objects

You can move the objects left to right. Objects are shown in layers, with numbers assigned to each layer. Number 1 will be read LAST, and Number 3 will be read first. Therefore, you want the objects listed left to right (number 1 is always on the far right), so that they are read aloud top to bottom.


Reorder Objects and Selection Pane are connected. If I move the objects up and down in the Selection Pane, that will move the objects left to right within Reorder Objects.
