I think delivery of these files via the cloud is a reasonable expectation and an appropriate accommodation.

The only thing I’d encourage is to provide the student with some simple instructions for downloading the files. That way, there’s a clear strategy for how to do this – and you’re not leaving them to figure it out on their own.

Many computers now don't even come with a CD/DVD drive.

I guess they could provide you with a USB thumb drive, to drop files on.  But that may put your system at risk if it has malicious files on it.
