Hi Jeff,

At Mason, the Assistive Technology Initiative Office has the following roles:

* AT Specialist
* Accessible Media Coordinator
* Accessible Text Coordinator
* IT Accessibility Coordinator

I manage the office. We report directly to the Associate VP/ADA & Title IX Coordinator in the Office for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. That individual reports directly to the VP/Chief Diversity Officer, who in turn reports to the University President.

We work very closely with a number of units, ITS and Disability Services chief among them, but no other roles related to AT or accessibility exist at our institution.

Subject: [Athen] IT Accessibility roles - how are you structured?
Hello ATHEN Community,

We are interested in finding out a bit about how institutions are organizing IT Accessibility roles within your educational institutions. Are they housed within your IT infrastructure? Are they a part of compliance teams? If any of you would be willing to share we would love to hear.
