NATURE OF ORGANIZATION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Lab Assistant main duties will be: - Human specimen processing (30%) - Human specimen management (30%) - Other general lab tasks as needed (30%) Samples are collected from ICU patients, including COVD-19 positive patients. The Lab Assistant will be trained and supervised by the Lab Manager. The ideal candidate will be able to commit to a schedule, self-motivated, collaborative, flexible and with good communication skills.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum one year of college science courses. - Basic knowledge of biology and biochemistry - Able to
understand and properly execute samples processing protocols - Lab skills: handling pipettes, making dilutions -Good Microsoft Applications' skills - Good organizational skills

EDUCATIONAL BENEFITS
Gaining experience and skills in translational research projects focused on understanding the underlying
inflammatory pathways in COVID-19 patients with Sepsis, Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome, and Organ Dysfunction. Working in a dynamic and diverse group of MDs, PhD, research scientists and research
coordinators. Gaining experience and skills in applying protocols focused on human specimen processing and samples banking.
