"The Soetedjo/Kojima Lab (located at UW Seattle campus) is seeking current UW undergraduates to fill a student assistant position. We are offering this position as a 499 course for credit or volunteering. Our lab conducts neuroscience research on eye movements and their associated neural mechanisms and brain structures using nonhuman primates as a model. This is a research position and students may be given the opportunity to do a research project. Student's responsibilities will include preparing animals, running experiments, collecting and analyzing data, preparing lab supplies, communicating with lab personnel, and other tasks related to lab upkeep. Animal handling will be required. This role will require consistent weekend availability.

No experience is required for this position; training will be provided. We require a time commitment of at least 12 hours per week for three consecutive academic quarters, or one year. Students interested in applying should email BOTH lab managers TL Wong (tw2407 at uw.edu) and Hidetaka Yoshino (hidetaka at uw.edu) and submit a resume, and optionally may also submit an unofficial academic transcript."

Thank you.
TL Wong
