[eOutage] RESOLVED: Proofpoint did not scan email attachments with Attachment Defense

UW-IT engineers identified that our Email Security vendor, Proofpoint,
experienced issues with the security feature called Attachment Defense.
This allowed some emails to be delivered without scanning attachments.

This incident has been resolved by Proofpoint. UW-IT will provide no
further communication about this matter.

Extra caution should be taken when opening attachments that were
received on 1/17/24 between 6:30 am and 11:00 am. Please be careful
opening any attachments to emails from unknown sources and extra
caution should always be used when opening attachments in email at all
